FAQ

The full list

How far in advance should I book?+

For local moves, 2–3 weeks is usually enough. For long-distance or summer dates, book 4–6 weeks out. That said β€” we squeeze in last-minute moves all the time. Just ask.

Do you provide packing materials?+

Yes. Boxes, tape, bubble wrap, mattress covers, wardrobe boxes β€” we bring whatever you need and only charge for what you use.

Are you licensed and insured?+

Licensed in all 50 states as an interstate carrier (USDOT & MC numbers on file) and carrying $2M in general liability plus full-value cargo protection.

How is pricing calculated?+

Local moves are hourly (crew + truck). Long-distance is a flat rate based on weight/volume and distance. You'll see the full breakdown in writing before anything happens.

What if something gets damaged?+

We damage less than 0.3% of items we move β€” but when it happens, our full-value protection replaces or repairs it. No fine print.

Do you move pianos and specialty items?+

Pianos, pool tables, safes, fine art, antiques, gym equipment β€” all handled by our specialty crew. Extra pads, extra hands, extra care.

How long does a move take?+

A 1-bedroom local move averages 3–5 hours. A 3-bedroom is usually 6–9. Long-distance delivery is 2–10 days depending on distance and route.

Do you offer storage?+

Yes β€” climate-controlled warehouses with short-term (gap between closings) and long-term options. Your stuff stays in a locked vault the whole time.
